Lot of 7 sixth plate figural Union cases, containing a total of one daguerreotype and four ambrotypes. Cases include: rare The Indian Monument at Havana, Cuba (Krainik 126 & 127); The Calmady Children (Krainik 129); The Farmer's Dream (Krainik 138); The Faithful Hound (Krainik 141); two examples of The Deer and the Pine Tree (Krainik 167), in black and dark brown; and Birds at the Fountain (Krainik 171). Images include a daguerreotype of a middle-aged couple; an ambrotype of a young brother and sister; two ambrotypes of men; and and ambrotype of a woman. Condition: "Indian Monument" with one extreme corner chipped off. "Birds at the Fountain" with a crack along the lower edge of the back cover. Black "Deer at the Pine Tree" with two small spots of discoloration on the cover. Others with only very minor wear. Daguerreotype with solar ring along mat edges, else very good.
