SIX GOOD, EARLY IRON TSUBA (15-18TH CENTURY) Nadekakugata , possibly Ko-Umetada, and thickening greatly at the edge, the heavy guard is pierced with a half flowerhead and scattered, large apertures, unsigned, height 8.0cm.; Onin style, circular and lobed, pierced with eight pointed petals and decorated with applied brass cuttings, unsigned, diameter 7.7cm.; circular with piped rim, the guard is pierced with the heads and wings of two birds, signed Soshu (no) ju Sadanaka , diameter 8.5cm.; nadekakugata and carved in sunken relief with a figure of Shoki holding a bow and with details in copper and gold, unsigned, height 8.5cm.; circular and pierced with a monkey-trainer's staff and the character no , unsigned, probably Yagyu, diameter 8.1cm.; oval Ko-Shoami with a surface hammered to resemble clouds with gold highlights and pierced with three irregular apertures, signed Shoami Shigenobu , height 7.3cm.
