Kaendler 1737 entworfen, lt. einer Legende erzählt diese Figur die Anekdote eines Hofschneiders, der begehrte an der höfischen Dresdner Tafel Platz zu nehmen. Die Höflinge machten sich daraus einen derben Spaß und bestellten bei Kaendler eine Figur, die den Schneider verspottete.
