AH 691/1292 AD): KULLIYAT TIMURID IRAN, DATED DHU'L-HIJJA AH 841/26 MAY 1438 AD The collected works of Sa'di, Persian manuscript on paper, 407ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 22ll. of black nasta'liq in the main text block and 14ll. written diagonally in the marginal blocks, the main text block mostly within two columns, with thin gold ruled frames, opening bifolio with very fine carpet illumination in blue and gold with central six-pointed star, the second bifolio with similar illumination headpieces in gold naskh or kufic within illuminated panels, splitting, slight staining, in brown morocco with stamped and gilt medallions Text panel 5 5/8 x 3¾in.
