AH 691/1292 AD): BUSTAN SIGNED MUHAMMAD HUSAYN AL-HUSAYNI, SAFAVID IRAN, DATED RABI' I AH 988/APRIL-MAY 1580-81 AD Poetry, Persian manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, 184ff. as numbered plus 1 fly-leaf, each foilo with 12ll. of elegant black nasta'liq arranged in two columns with double gold intercolumnar rule, text within gold and polychrome rules on wide cream margins, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, colophon signed Muhammad Husyan al-Husayni and dated Rabi' I 988, first fly leaf with an owner's note written in Isfahan in October 1900, in later brown morocco with flap decorated with central stamped medallion issuing pendants, the doublures of black morocco Text panel 6 x 3 1/8in.
