Highlights include a sixth plate post mortem tintype portrait of a young girl lying horizontally on a bed or table, with flowers strewn about her body and hands crossed over her chest. Housed in a pressed paper case fully separated at spine (no velvet pad); a sixth plate tintype "still life" presentation featuring a tall end table or "high boy" draped with an intricately designed cloth and surmounted by a lovely floral arrangement, with several details highlighted in green. Housed in a full pressed paper case with repair; a sixth plate ambrotype portrait of a young seated child wearing a hat and plaid sash, with a possible "hidden mother" partially visible to the left. Housed under mat and preserver only (no protective glass plate, no case); and a sixth plate ambrotype portrait of a small, long-haired dog. Housed under mat, glass, and preserver (no case). One image housed in ninth plate geometric union case. Condition: Post mortem tintype with some scratching and clouding, with spotting to mat. Case fully separated at spine, and without velvet pad. Case also with general wear including loss to finish in some spots. Still life tintype with some scratching, darkening, clouding, and spotting to plate. Ambrotype of child with hidden mother with heavy scratching/abrasions, loss of lacquer, and spotting to mat. Ambrotype of dog with some scratching, clouding, and darkening to plate. Dog with large clouded spot at center, some small abrasions throughout body, and slight blurring, especially to back legs.
