sculpture patinée en bronze coulé représentant un des premiers aviateurs grimpant sur le mythique cheval ailé Pégase et décollant d'un hémisphère terrestre en échappant à l'emprise d'une figure féminine allégorique symbolisant la pesanteur terrestre, avec signature du sculpteur à l'arrière de l'embase, une inscription portée ultérieurement 'fonte sur plâtre', estampillée et signée de fonderie tout autour de l'embase 'Susse Frères – Paris', le globe portant l'inscription en français "L'Homme enfourchant sa Machine Volante échappe à l'Attraction de la Terre", bronze monté sur une embase en marbre, hauteur hors-tout 23 cm.
