from the library of Easton Neston, English and French caricatures by Gillray, Rowlandson, Boilly, Pigal, Milon and others, British and Continental views, including and early 19th century reconstruction of Stone Henge during a druids’ festival, several early lithographic views of Windsor and Eton by Ingalton and Evans, c.1821, views of Brighton, Pisa and Genoa, Paris and elsewhere, a series on the Life of a Soldier, Indian Service, other portraits and costume figures, including many of Turkish, Greek, Dutch and other interest, engravings, aquatints, lithographs, many with original hand-colouring, a few original drawings, many trimmed close or images and figures cut around, mounted on album leaves in a mid 19th century half-morocco album, rubbed, library label on front marbled pastedown, folio, early to mid 19th century.
