The Border Antiquities of England and Scotland; comprising Specimens of Architecture and Sculpture, and other Vestiges of Former Ages ...], 2 volumes, [London: Longman ..., 1814-1817], titles and half-titles discarded, additional engraved titles and 91 engraved plates (generally offset to text), variable spotting, mostly to blank margins, volume 2 some dampstaining at rear, front free endpapers each with ink stamped crest, all edges gilt, contemporary gilt-decorated black straight-grained morocco, rubbed with some marks, a little wear to extremities, 4to, together with: Browne (James), Picturesque Views of Edinburgh ..., Edinburgh: Daniel Lizars 1825, additional engraved title, 51 engraved plates (correct as list), extra-illustrated with 59 engraved plates (including the additional engraved title) taken from Modern Athens Displayed in a Series of Views, or Edinburgh in the Nineteenth Century ... 1829, variable spotting, mainly towards front and rear and to blank margins, hinges cracked, contemporary terracotta straight-grained half morocco, worn, rear joint cracked, 4to, plus: Garnett (Thomas), Observations on a Tour through the Highlands and part of the Western Isles of Scotland ..., 2 volumes in one, new edition, London: John Stockdale, 1811, single-page engraved map, (without folding map),52 uncoloured aquatint plates, some offsetting, text generally spotted and toned, lightly affecting plates, some dampstaining to text, affecting upper corner of one plate, hinges cracked after 1st and before last printed leaves, 20th century brown quarter morocco, rubbed and somewhat marked, corners showing (upper front corner lightly bumped), 4to, and two others Scotland-related: Two Months in the Highlands, Orcadia, and Skye, by Charles Richard Weld, 1860, and A Topographical Description of the Northern Division of Scotland ..., bound with A Topographical Description of the Middle Division of Scotland ..., by George Alexander Cooke, c.1805 (Qty: 6)
