SCEPTRE RUYI EN JADE CELADON PALE SCULPTE CHINE, FIN DE LA DYNASTIE QING (1644-1911) The ruyi head is finely carved as a large lingzhi decorated with a pavilion emerging from foaming waves, partially surmounted by a phoenix. The long shaft is carved in high relief with a scrolling dragon and numerous smaller lingzhi growing from gnarled stems. The stone is of a pale even tone with some white cloudy inclusions; small chip. 13 1/8 in. (33.5 cm.) long
