The "Agamemnon", then under the command of Horatio Nelson, is mentioned with other ships as being directed by Lord Hood to protect a trade convoy from Gibraltar on 8 May. Several requests from William Wilberforce on behalf of the merchants of Leeds and Halifax are noted.
