ROYAL AND POLITICAL INTEREST; A SMALL COLLECTION OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY ITEMS Comprising a Pitt Club badge, the silver gilt badge for the London Pitt Club, the front centred with a Tassie paste cameo of William Pitt the Younger, within a surround inscribed NON. SIBI.PATRIAE. VIXIT, with a laurel leaf drapery and bow surmount, the reverse inscribed In Memory Of The Honble Wm Pitt Died 23 Jan 1806 Aged 47, centred with Pitt Club and with an engraved name Richard Potts Esqr; together with a paste cameo in the manner of Tassie of George IV, in original leather bound case; Pellatt & Green, a Crystallo Ceramie (sulphide) of George III, the profile of George III signed to the reverse Pellatt & Green Patentees London; and a pseudo pocket watch celebrating the ascension of William the 4th, the white dial with black Roman numerals, centred with the profile of William IV Size/dimensions: Pitt Club badge 5cm long Gross weight: 64 grams Offered for sale with a receipt from Donohoe regarding the Pitt Club badge, and print out of further information, dated to 1984; and a receipt from Howard Phillips for the George III Crystallo Creamie, dated 3rd July 1984 An example of Pitt Club badges can be found in the collections at the V & A Museum and The British Museum Condition Report: This is a pseudo pocket watch, there is no movement Condition Report Disclaimer
