An extremely rare stainless steel automatic wristwatch with "rail" dial, date, gas escape valve and bracelet, made for COMEX Signed Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, COMEX, 2000ft=600m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, Sea-Dweller model, ref. 1665, case no. 6'193'089, Comex issue no. 2220, circa 1980 Cal. 1570 automatic movement, 26 jewels, black matte dial, luminous dot, baton and dagger numerals, luminous Mercedes hands, sweep centre seconds, window for date, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, revolving black bezel calibrated for 60 units, gas escape valve in the band, screw back engraved "Rolex Patent Oyster Gas Escape Valve" and with COMEX issue no. "2220", screw down crown, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed 39.5 mm. diam.; overall length of bracelet approx. 170 mm.
