Robert Parish 1992 Boston Celtics Home Jersey Because of Parish's stoic demeanor, Celtic teammate Cedric Maxwell nicknamed him "The Chief", after the mute Native American in the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. After a modest college career at Centenary College of Louisiana, Parish was drafted in the first round of the 1976 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, before being traded to the Boston Celtics. Playing 14 years with the Celtics from 1980 to 1994, he won three NBA titles (1981, 1984 and 1986) teaming with legendary small forward Larry Bird and power forward Kevin McHale. In honor of his achievements, the Celtics retired Parish's 00 jersey number in 1998. He was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. On the left tail of Parish's 1992-93 Boston Celtics home mesh jersey is the "Champion" exclusive label with the year "1992-93" and "Body Length +3" and next to this is the "Champion" label with the size "48." On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch and on the left shoulder is a black armband with the player number "35" commemorating the death of Reggie Lewis. Shows light game wear.
