Three inter-related works bound together. First: Paine's classic Rights of Man, being a response to Edmund Burke's thoughts on the French Revolution, Dublin: P. Byrne, 1791; second Burke's writings on the French Revolution, Dublin: P. Wogan, P. Byrne, et al., 1796; lastly, Cooper's reply to Edmund Burke in the House of Commons on April 30, 1792, London: J. Johnson & M. Falkner, 1792. First two with no edition stated and final work states second edition. Lot Amendments Condition: Leather treated (slightly staining corresponding marbled paper at edges); mild toning and occasional faint foxing to contents; else very good or better overall.
