Excellent content discussing British attacks along the western New York frontier, "where [the British and their Indian allies] have been executing with the utmost Rigor the barbarous and unmanly System of warfare threatened by the British Commissioners in their Manifesto...Yesterday...a Party of the Enemy under Brandt [Joseph Brant] having destroyed 10 Houses & at Minisink, killed three & captivated five of the inhabitants and 10 Negroes...We begin to despair of the Success of our western Expedition..." -- CLINTON.
