Partially rubricated, three large initials, two in red and blue and one in green and yellow on gold ground. Modern calf preserving most of the period blind-tooled calf covers. Worming throughout, first gathering and final two gatherings silked or with other restoration. Provenance: Friedrich Dobe (bookplate); anonymous owner, Bloomsbury, Oct 31, 1985, lot 137.
