VAN RIJN (1606-1669) A Small Album of Prints including: 12 etchings by and after Rembrandt , mostly later Basan impressions, including The Artist’s Mother with her hand on her Chest (New Holl. 87), fourth state (of six); Beggar Man and Beggar Woman conversing (New Holl. 45), third, final state; The Pancake Woman (New Holl. 144), sixth state (of seven); A Peasant in a High Cap, standing leaning on a stick (New Holl. 178), second, final state; Man drawing from a Cast (New Holl. 192), fourth state (of seven); Man in a Coat and Fur Cap leaning against a Bank (New Holl. 48), third, final state; Bust of a Man with flowing Beard and White Sleeve (New Holl. 65), a late impression of the first state (of two); and The Old Man with a Leaf of Trefoil on his Coat (Holl. 24) by Ferdinand Bol (1616-1680) , second, final state; and two etchings by unidentified hands, with margins, tipped to wove support sheets, generally in good condition 243 x 157 mm.
