(Title-leaf rehinged, upper margin of title repaired catching the hatched background of engraved portrait on verso, the affected area touched up in ink facsimile, Kk1 with long tear neatly repaired, occasional marginal discoloration.) 17th-century French speckled calf, spine gilt (restorations to head and tail of spine and corners, joints worn); modern half morocco felt-lined folding case.
