Two scrolls signed by the artist, with two seals and two impressed seals Two scrolls inscribed and signed by the artist, with two seals, one impressed seal, and one illegible impressed seal One scroll dated guiwei year (1943) Dedicated to Junkui NOTE: The set of four paintings feature amaranth, wisteria, Aquatic Life, and Lychee, all iconic themes in Qi Baishi’s repertoire. The set was commissioned by Junkui, as indicated on the work, which is still mounted on what is presumed to be its original mounting.
