Egypt, and Mohammed Ali; or, Travels in the Valley of the Nile, 2 volumes, 1834, wood engraved vignette to each title, half-titles present, contemporary Eton College gift inscription to front blank of each volume, dated July 1839, contemporary gilt-decorated full calf, rubbed and a little wear to joints and edges (foot of spine of second volume with modern repair), 8vo, together with Kirby (William & Spence, William) , An Introduction to Entymology, or Elements of the Natural History of Insects, 2 volumes, 2nd edition, 1816, hand-coloured engraved plates, with offsetting, and some spotting and discolouration elsewhere, later half cloth retaining original spine labels, 8vo, plus other 19th century antiquarian interest, mostly history, literature, etc., including The Art Journal Illustrated Catalogue, The Industry of All Nations, 1851 (plus two related Baxter prints of The Great Exhibition framed and glazed), Joseph Skelton, Pietas Oxoniensis, or Records of Oxford Founders, 1828, Report of Decisions of the Commission of Claims... between the United States and Great Britain, Washington, 1856, [William Sharp], Pharais, A Romance of the Isles, by Fiona Macleod, Derby, Moray Press, May 1894, limited signed edition 58/75, rebound in modern cloth, Thomas Bewick The Fables of Aesop, and others, Newcastle, 1818, Imperial Copy, with thumbprint printed ownership leaf at front of William Boyd, Lady Evelyn Cobbold, Pilgrimage to Mecca, 1st edition, 1934, etc., mostly leather bound, mainly 8vo, but including some large format volumes, (approximately 110 volumes) (6 shelves)
