Includes mostly typed letters signed but also autograph notes from various political figures such as Alphose D'Amato, Justice Anthony Kennedy, Moshe Dayan, Henry Kissinger, Moshe Arens, Shimon Peres, Geraldine Ferraro, Colin Powell, Bob Dole, Janet Reno, Robert Kennedy Jr., and others including a few from authors and entertainment figures Arthur Schlesinger Jr., William F. Buckley Jr., Barbara Walters, Chris Matthews, etc. Folds, creases, some stray marks, well preserved overall. Of note in this large group is a 2001 letter from Robert Kennedy Jr. on environmental issues written while jailed in San Juan; numerous letters on Israeli and Jewish issues; and a very tense letter from Geraldine Ferraro, who writes "During the campaign of 1984 when my world was falling down around me and you took a couple of gratuitous slaps at me, I don't remember you calling to explain"; etc. A very rich and poignant group of correspondence between Koch and a variety of political personalities.
