Part III with upper part repaired. Part III with engraved plate, half title wrongly bound, belongs to part IV. Dampstaining, some worming. Part IV with worming and minor textloss in the beginning, about 10 pages, dampstaining to the lower margin. 2 vols. Darlow-Moule II:1, pp. 9-12. Plantin's Polyglott was published between 1569-72 under the patronage of Philip II of Spain in 8 volumes. Part III (Esdras - Ecclus) collation: Engraved plate, (4), (2), 3-10, (2), 11-83, (1 blank), (28), 73-142, (1), 144-168, 167- 178, 181-653, 656-57, 656-679, (1 blank); (1)-130 pp. Lacking last blank leaf.
