Volume I with half-title, engraved frontispiece and title in red and black with engraved vignette, title of volume II with woodcut vignette, volumes I and II with 34 engraved emblematic illustrations. 19th-century green morocco with gilt armorial of the Marquis de Morante on covers (extremities scuffed). Provenance : J. Gomez de Cortina, Marquis de Morante (binding); Library of Cortina (bookplate). Praz p. 129. -- Haga Comitis Illustrata: of Het Verheerlykt en Verligt 'Sgravenhage. The Hague: Anthoni de Groot 30 August, 1751. 2° (550 x 420mm.). Title in red and black with engraved vignette, 15 leaves each with 2 or more plates per leaf (51 in total), engraved head- and tailpieces. (One leaf torn and repaired, some dampstaining to lower blank margin.) Modern vellum-backed boards. Provenance : unidentified armorial ownership stamp; the Hague, city library (release stamp). (3)
