Subjects include a disgruntled-looking bearded man leaning against a musical contraption labeled "FUNNYGRAPH / MANFGD BY ED.'N SON."; two women in summery clothing, one of whom blows a trumpet into the ear of the second pictured at the shore with caption reading, "Did you hear it? Were you near it?"; a pair of men drinking wine from two enormous bottles with a guitar and case in the foreground, presented as a stereoview; and group photograph of men, women, and children, singing absurdly from sheet music. 14 photographs, ranging in size from 3.125 x 4.625 in. to 9.75 x 7.125 in., the majority of which capture musicians wearing leis and playing stringed instruments.
