Orlandini Siena: Simeone di Niccolo, 1517. 4°, title within woodcut architectural border, printer's device and sun device on verso of final leaf, large ornamental woodcut initials (lacking E 4 - 5, final leaf repaired and mounted on verso with window cut around devices, spotting and marginal staining), flexible vellum (backstrip damaged, a few stains on front cover); inscription deleted from A 2; Library of the Apostles, Naples, stamp on 3 leaves. FIRST EDITION IN ITALIAN. Brunet IV, 567. PETRARCA, Francesco. Sonetti e Canzoni , Venice: heirs of Aldus Manutius and Andrea Asolano [i.e. Paulus Manutius], June 1533. 8°, printer's device at end (lacking title but supplied in ink in facsimile, small wormhole in first and last few leaves, final 2 leaves repaired with slight loss of one letter, light marginal thumb-soiling at beginning), 19th-century half calf (front joints rubbed), gilt and gauffered edges.
