Balsbaugh (active 1853-1904), also known as the Spiral Artist of Dauphin County, with colorful columns, balls and religious verse for Lizzie K. Baum, enclosed in an 1869 Brethren's Hymn Book, Covington, Miami, each side is 5" x 2 3/4". For further information see Papers for Birth Dayes, 2019, pages 84-85. Condition:The right hand page is in very fine condition. The left hand page has two areas of smudging where it appears that an attempt was made to erase the text.
