London, 1824-25. 2 volumes. 8 engraved folding charts and 31 engraved plates and plans after Lyon. -- A Supplement to the Appendix of Captain Parry's Voyage for the Discovery of the North-West Passage in the Years 1819-20. Containing an Account of the Subjects of Natural History . London, 1824. 6 engraved plates after J. Curtis and F. Bauer -- Journal of a Third Voyage for the Discovery of a North-West Passage... London, 1826. -- Narrative of an Attempt to Reach the North Pole . London, 1828. Engraved folding chart and 6 engraved plates and plans. Together 6 volumes, 4 o (285 x 230 mm). (Scattered foxing and offsetting throughout.) Original boards, UNCUT (rebacked with buckram, some wear). FIRST EDITIONS. Parry sailed on three voyages in search of a Northwest Passage in 1819-20 (with the Hecla and Viper ), 1821-23 and 1824-25 (with the Fury and Hecla ). His final voyage of 1827 attempted to reach the North Pole from Spitzbergen by travelling with sledge-boats over the ice.
