ca 1820-1840s, created with superb craftsmanship of the legs of a caribou. Ornamented with panels of fine floral embroidery bound with red silk and finished with metal cones inserted with moose hair. Edgings fashioned from hand-pinked red wool. Hangings lined with tan polished cotton, height 15". Photographed in Hothem's Indian Trade Relics (2003: 181). Condition: Very good, silk binding on panels is frayed, hanging strip broken on one, else fine.
