"Arthur Clark helped organize the Pacific Coast Branch of the AHA soon after relocating to Glendale in 1930. The publication of this periodical no doubt provided necessary work and income during the Great Depression, though profit, if any, was slim. Publication of the quarterly was turned over to the University of California Press in 1938.". Clark & Brunet II, 201.
