All with hammered finishes, applied copper and brass ornaments (including leaves, flowers, insects, squirrels, birds, frogs, lizards, turtles, and more), and the tray and tongs have engraved floral decoration. Total weight approx. 61.5 ozt (1925 g). This set boldly illustrates the heavy Japanese influence on the American Aesthic Movement. Of the numerous American silver manufactures during this period, Dominick and Haff was producing some of the best examples of this Japanese-styled silver. Condition: Cream pitcher likely lacking lid, teapot handle missing 1 pin, monogrammed on the underside, minor dings.
