ORSON WELLES Citizen Kane , the script of the film privately printed for Orson Welles for the 25th Anniversary of the completion of the final draft of the screenplay by Welles and Herman Mankiewicz, limited to 126 copies, this number 26, signed on the title page by Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton, with three adhesive labels signed by Robert Wise, William Alland and Ruth Wise (signed twice as herself and Emily Norton Kane , the character she played in the film), additionally signed by Welles twice on two further front pages, with a rosebud stamped in blue on the last page, privately printed by Charles Lavenam Printers, 16th July, 1965, 156pp. 4to, (loose); and two stills from the film (reprints), the first signed by Orson Welles and Joseph Cotton, the second by Welles only, both 10 x 8in. . The anniversary edition of the script in a format chosen by Welles was limited to one hundred numbered copies on white paper and twenty six lettered copies on ivory paper. (3)
