Zane Grey poses with his large catch hoisted tail first by a block and tackle rigging on the Catalina Island dock, with his bent rod and safari hat in hand. This photo is the mirror image of the one used for the frontispiece and front dust jacket cover of Tales of Swordfish and Tuna (1927). Provenance: According to the consignor, it was purchased from an individual who acquired it from a University of Reno, Nevada archives sale. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine. Item number: 192492
