After World War One he worked for a few years as a commercial artist. With the onset of the Depression, by 1930 he had abandoned his art career and was an engineer in a mining company. He died in Los Angeles on March 24, 1952. A fine colorist, his rare works include landscapes of the area around his home. Images available at pbagalleries.com.
