The illustration was printed on page 289 of The Wonder City of Oz, and illustrates the passage on the following page, "Crack! Jenny hit against the fence of the enclosure and fell into the grass. The fence awoke and promptly loosened one of its rails. The rail hit Jenny over the head." There are pencil notations at bottom edge, "#86" and "Ch. 26," and faint pencil box around the image. Lot Amendments Condition: Some toning and mat burn from earlier framing; very good. Item number: 279898
