Classic Car Auctions says: A refined example of the iconic sports car...This beautiful 912 has had a substantial amount of expenditure in a programme of restorative works. Finished in Slate Grey with a green leather interior, the engine has been rebuilt and powder coated, and the carbs that have been rebuilt and balanced. A new clutch was fitted, the wheels aligned and fitted with new bearings, shock absorbers, brakes and brake lines. The chrome was removed for refinishing and are complemented with Amco front and rear chrome guards. New rubbers and seals were fitted along with new halogen headlights. The interior has been refreshed with new headrests and new rubber floor mats. A discreet USB plug-in stereo is mated to a custom under-dash speaker. Presented to auction with a fresh MOT and an odometer reading of 74,000 this car deserves serious consideration.
