The Banks of the Nile - a little wear to corners and extremities, spine has retained its colour and remains quite bright, light spotting throughout, edges of pages block spotted.2. Southern India - some wear to corners, and cloth at lower hinge, edges of pages are a little browned, 3-4.. The Tribes of the Ashanti Hinterland - two volumes, cloth faded at edges of covers and spine,, corners a little worn, head and tails of spine slightly rubbed with a small tear in the cloth at the head of volume II, foxing on endpapers.5. Medicine and Magic of the Mashona - some spotting along top edge of pages block, some discolouration to head and tail of spine, spine and extremities a little darkened, head and tail chipped and torn all the way round with some loss, tear with some loss at spine, light foxing to folding map at end of volume two.
