Text printed in 4 columns across facing pages in Syriac, a Latin translation of the Syriac, Latin Vulgate, and Greek. Hebrew text in 2 columns across the bottom of each page. Introductory text by general editor Benedictus Arias Montanus is followed by the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the first part and the books of Acts, the Epistles, and the Apocalypse in the second part. Lot Amendments Condition: Covers scuffed and worn but nicely rebacked and quite presentable; small embossed stamp in margin of plate; old dampstain with tidemark to bottom of pp. 11-48; upper corner tip of p. 49 and bottom corner tip of 143 torn away, very good.
