Northwest Coast Polychrome Carved Wood Mask, Kwakiutl, c. last quarter 19th century, the large cedar form with perforated round nostrils, articulated fins at the top representing a killer whale, articulated lower jaw and side fins representing ravens (?), stylized painting using black, white, green, and red pigments, remnant string and toggles for articulation, remnant head cloth, (damage, old repairs, replaced hinges on side fins), ht. 26 in., wd. 41 in. with fins open.
