With the half-title, advertisement and privilege leaves. Title printed in red and black, engraved portrait frontispiece by George Vertue after Vanderbank, 24 folding engraved plates, diagrams throughout. (Faint dampstain in the margin of a few leaves.) Contemporary mottled calf, spine gilt in compartments, sides with single blind rule border, edges red, marbled endpapers (some wear at spine head, corners lightly rubbed). Provenance : indistinct shelf-marks pencilled on the title.
