Wood-engraved title vignette, 31 plates and plans after A. Pugin and others (20 present in two states, giving a plate total of 51), comprising aquatints, some hand-colored, line etchings, some on india paper mounted, and some mounted; occasional spotting to mounts, a few instances of minor marginal toning. Expertly bound to style in half black straight-grained morocco over contemporary marbled paper-covered boards, spine with raised bands in 8 compartments, decoratively tooled in gilt.
