Diffusi aloni e fioriture, grande gora che interessa la porzione inferiore di tutte le carte del volume. Legatura coeva in mezza pergamena su piatti in cartone. Dorso a cinque nervi, con titolo in oro su tassello nocciola chiaro. Tagli screziati in rosso. Qualche macchia e traccia di polvere ai piatti, più evidenti a quello posteriore. Prima edizione della Bibliotheca di Johann Christoph Mylius (1710-1757), bibliotecario a Jena e dal 1740, anno della pubblicazione di questa opera, professore di filosofia presso la locale università. Mylius presenta la sua opera come un supplemento a due notissimi repertori dedicati agli anonimi e pseudonimi, il Theatrum anonymorum et pseudonymorum dell'amburghese Vincent Placcius (1642-1699) e lo Schediasma de anonymis et pseudonymis di Christoph August Heumann (1681-1763), dati rispettivamente alle stampe nel 1708 (in edizione notevolmente accresciuta) e nel 1711. La seconda parte del volume comprende gli Addenda di Mylius. Two parts in one volume, folio (351x209 mm). [2], 336; [8], 50, [38] pages. A fair copy, uniformly browned as expected. Spotted and foxed throughout, large waterstain to the lower margin of the volume. Contemporary half-vellum over pasteboards. Spine with five raised bands, title in gold on light hazel lettering-piece. Edges speckled red. A few stains and traces of dust to the covers, especially to the lower one. First edition of the Bibliotheca by Johann Christoph Mylius (1710-1757), librarian and since 1740 professor of philosophy at the University of Jena. Mylius presents his publication as a supplement to two previous and well-known works devoted to anonymous and pseudonymous writers, the Theatrum anonymorum et pseudonymorum by Vincent Placcius (1642-1699), and the Schediasma de anonymis et pseudonymis by Christoph August Heumann (1681-1763), issued in 1708 and 1711 respectively. The second part of the volume contains the Addenda.
