Clock in the arch of the frame has a 3.5 in. porcelain dial signed "Charin, a Paris", has blue Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced brass hands and gilt brass bezel; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement signed Vincenti & Co., has an half hour strike on a bell. Clock is not attached to the animated mechanism, dial has some chipping; in a gilt filigree carved frame having some typical minor losses to the gilt & carving, has pendulum, clock key & music box key, missing third key for animated mechanism. Measures 30.5 in. high x 26.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
