MUHAMMAD HUSAYN NAZIRI NISHABURI (D. 1642 AD): DIWAN POSSIBLY INDIA OR IRAN, 17TH CENTURY An early copy of this diwan comprising a qasida , ghazaliyat and ruba'iyat , Persian manuscript on paper, 240ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in two columns with double black-ruled gold interlinear divisions, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, most folios with catchwords, opening bifolios of the qasida and ghazaliyat with gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces and gold and blue floral margins, opening and final bifolios restored, the reverse of the opening folio with later owners' notes, in brown morocco binding Text panel 6 x 2 5/8in. (15.3 x 6.7cm.); folio 8 1/8 x 4 5/8in. (20.6 x 11.8cm.
