A very fine and rare silver and enamel Ermeto purse watch with box Signed Movado, Chronometre Ermeto, retailed by The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd., case no. 1196043, stamped with London date letter for 1928 The mechanical movement wound by opening and closing the sliding shutters, the silvered matte dial with luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, in silver inner case, the shutters with Art Deco black, yellow and translucent blue and green cloisonné enamel decoration, translucent green enamel on engine-turned background to the reverse, case signed Movado and stamped GS and with London date letter for 1928, dial and movement signed Movado 47 mm. wide
