"In 1977, I began working on staff as a letterer for Marvel Comics. I had been drawing my whole life up to that point... but not superheroes. After a long career doing lettering and humor illustration, I decided to try and teach myself how to draw the human figure realistically, and superheroes, just for the heck of it.... So I did these two drawings of Spider-Man, a comic book [and strip] I had lettered for many years. I thought it might be more challenging for me to try and draw a pose I had never seen Spidey depicted in." Condition: Fine. Lots sold without reserve are sold "as is" and are not returnable under any circumstances. The minimum shipping and handling per invoice is $25 for shipments to the US and $50 for shipments sent outside the US Please consider this when determining your bid amounts Item#: 347864b Headline: Original SPIDEY Art by Rick Parker, c.2014
