The hexameters of each section of the summary form an acrostic of the letters of the alphabet, and the metrical prologue to the work forms an acrostic reading 'Roseum memoriale divinorum eloquiorum compilatum per fratrem Petrum de Rosenhaim monachum monasterii Medlicensis'.
