Überaus reich bestücktes und dekorativ arrangiertes Sammelalbum. – Etwa die Hälfte der Spitzenbildchen und Glückwunschbillets stammt aus der Zeit vor 1900; enthalten sind auch einige besondere Stücke, etwa zehn Klappkärtchen und einzelne Billets mit textilen Montagen. Auch einige Andachtsbildchen, Briefe und Exlibris wurden eingeklebt; außerdem wurden Glückwünsche und Gedichte, die sich wohl auf der Rückseite der Karten fanden, teils auf die Albumblätter übertragen. – Meist nur leichte Altersspuren. Album with approx. 200 greeting, folded and paper-lace cards and approx. 150 scrap pictures (all mounted on approx. 50 leaves). Around 1840-1930. Oblique-Fol. (28,5 x 35,5 cm). – Decoratively arranged, rich scrap-book. – About one half of the cards and paper-laces dating from before 1900. Containing also more special pieces like for example cards with textile assemblies, as well as devotional pictures, letters and bookplates. Some of the wishes and poems, that were probably found an the reverse of these cards, were copied by hand on the album pages. – Mostly light traces of age. – Contemporary blind-tooled cloth (somewhat scratched and scuffed).
