Lot of 13. Booklet: Beck, Abraham. "Two Nights at Sea." To the Beck Family School, Litits, May 1, 1884. 5.5 x 6.75 in. 34pp. Printed paper wraps. Postcard-sized card with colored lithograph of U.S.S. Tonopah, submarine tender. Issued by the Northwestern Yeast Co., Chicago. Verso with bread recipe. Advertising brochure, General Motors Co. "Train of Tomorrow," fanfolded, 3.25 in. wide, 33 in. long unfolded. 1947. Collector card - General Motors, Buick Experimental Car XP-300. 2.75 x 3.75 in. Card No. 95 in a series. Advertising booklet for Cunningham Motor Cars, 4.75 x 6.75 in., printed paper wraps, saddle stapled. Last six pages have photos of vehicles. Ca. 1928-1929. Interesting comment on p. 5: "Another improvement is the addition of gasoline gauge to the dash equipment so that the supply of fuel in the tank is at all times accurately indicated." And you thought cars always had gas gauges! Page with 3 photos of trains and railroad equipment. 2.25 x 6.75 in.; 3.5 x 6 in.; 3.25 x 5.5 in. Red Star Hustler Power Car Company: brochure, 6 x 9.25 in. 16pp. 1911-1912. With vertical folds, partial separation of spine. Plus a number of long typed letters with manuscript corrections. Photograph, 4 x 7 in. of early delivery vehicle, American Express Company on side. Affixed to another piece of paper with "1914" on it. Conductor's Cash Fare Receipt, Half Fare, punched for Titusville (to) Bridgeport. Latest patent date 1873. Brochure for Great Central Railway, Holiday & Health Resorts (UK). Inside map Falmouth to Lowestoft to NewCastle to Liverpool. Unfolded 12.5 x 22.5 in. Brass paperweight, P.R.R. On verso: "Commemorating the Inauguration of Rail-Air Passenger Service / July 7, 1929." On recto: "The Pennsylvania Railroad Harnessing the Plane and the Iron Horse." With large train coming toward viewer and a partial plane to the right, and a tiny plane in the air. Receipt for 1 seat on stagecoach from DeMoines to ??, Aug. 2, 1855. Bill of Lading for 25 boxes of tobacco on the Brig. Orleans, 12 March 1845. From port of Richmond, VA to New Orleans. (framed)
