Contemporary red hard-grained half morocco and boards (some wear to spine ends and corners). FIRST EDITION of a pioneering work of Meso-American studies and "an almost indispensable supplement to Humboldt's Voyage en Amerique , as it contains many interesting discoveries not in the latter work" (Sabin).
